Perfect Puffs QUTopia was a virtual food stall business designed for QUT's Marketing unit: Marketplace Simulation. Where products would be "brought" during market day (4th-5th October 2022) with 'QUTopian dollars' (Q$) through ordering forms.

It was a group project working within a team of 6, my official role was 'Customer Experience Manager'. My responsibilities included: complete social media management and content creation, market research and customer satisfaction and communication.
Market research was conducted amongst peers (and potential customers) to determine preferences for sweet and savory food, highlighting the potential for Curry puffs - a product never sold before in history of the unit, along with dessert puffs and a product bundle.
From primary and secondary market research, I developed a Persona of the ideal target customer.

This allowed us to understand consumer preferences when developing marketing material, before having access to market trends (developed by other market stalls within the unit).

Brand identity was developed and launched on the communal Facebook group within a week and as such Perfect Puffs QUTopia was one of the first brands to engage with the community.
Two colour schemes were developed, 1 with green highlights the other with red. Overall the red theme was chosen, due to colour psychology, likelihood to attract attention and over saturation of green within the market
Brand assets were created by me in Adobe Illustrator
Multiple photo shoots of the products were conducted to use in promotional material
Social media photos, gifs and videos were developed by me using Canva
Additional product offering
Since our products were sold virtually and customers could not receive physical products we provided recipe sheets to encourage purchases as a point of difference in the market (as nearly all products could not be actually provided to customers during the unit's market day set up).
This was positively received within the market and resulted in increased sales.
