This project was developed as part of my QUT Interaction Design studies. Logitech was selected as a company of interest due to their innovation practices. Research was conducted into Logitech's sub-brand Streamlabs, where a gap in the services offered was identified: Audience Analytics.
Project Brief
Currently Streamlabs offers no audience analytics, however this is a common service offering of many other Single-platform Live Streaming Software. The design of the data communication and visualizations, will have to be intuitive and allow users to manipulate and access the data they want.
I used my previous experience in market analytics from by Marketing degree to inform a simplistic, easy to use design to communicate complex information to the users. The display of audience analytics would be available to the user either while live streaming, or from their Streamlabs hub will bring an added value to ensure Streamlabs, and Logitech, remain with a competitive advantage.
Final Outcome
The final outcome from this project is a high-fidelity Figma prototype, developed over a 2 week period - See the video above for walk through or click on the image to zoom in.
The prototype was designed to show a scalable webpage that seamlessly integrates with Streamlabs's current market offerings.
The final concept could be extrapolated in the future to explore live audience analytics during a users streams, as well as further data and customisation that would allow for a unique experience and offering in the market.
